Brighton based all-female band. Jack The Lass play an eclectic mix of driving rock interspersed with haunting melodies. Playing original material written by all the band members, influences include such diverse artists such as Santana, Dido, Queen, and The Beatles.

Los Angeles CA based, Jaded Lady was formed from remaining members of early 1980's "queens of leather rock" Leather Angel (released "We Came To Kill" EP). During the 1980's, Jaded Lady was featured on the "Lady Killers" compilation album and appeared in Penelope Spheris' movie "The Decline of Western Civilization 2-The Metal Years". Jaded Lady disbanded by the end of the 1980's, but was an exceptional band!

Jane Friday formed as a 4 piece band early into the year 2000, and played a few shows around town. Second guitarist Ruby Haynes was added almost a year later and thus far, the girls have played shows in their hometown of Bakersfield, Los Angeles, Visalia, Twin Oaks, and Ventura, CA. They currently have a 5 song demo out for $5 ($7 if shipping is needed), and are planning to go back into the studio in November of 2001 to record their newer songs and compose an 8 song cd.
