Rosie Ribbons is a Welsh singer-songwriter who rose to fame as a finalist on the first series of Pop Idol. She subsequently had two UK top 20 hits. Born on 22 July 1983 in Australia and raised in Wales, she was inspired by Mariah Carey and began writing her own songs.
