La Roux is an English synth-pop act, originally founded by singer and frontwoman Elly Jackson and producer Ben Langmaid, known for a synth-based electropop style. The act was a duo until 2012 when Langmaid left, and has released three full-length albums since 2008, with the debut going platinum in the UK.
