Alyson Williams is an R&B singer and on-air radio personality who had a string of hit singles in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Her vocal style weaves soul, jazz, and gospel into what audiences describe as a "hauntingly pure" experience. She is also a philanthropist and the daughter of bandleader and trumpeter Bobby Booker.
